apple juice
This has been my breakfast for the last 5 days. It's so good that I am thinking about it at nite, when I go to bed, because I can't wait to make it again. The key ingredient is the ginger. It brings about the perfect amount of spiciness & freshness to the drink. When I remember, I throw in a handful of spinach, as well.
ingredients:
2 green apples
2 carrots
1 inch piece of ginger, peeled
handful of spinach (optional)
directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a juicer. Serve immediately. Yields about 16 oz.

ReplyDeletethis is brilliant. my mom used to make us carrot juice and throw in an apple--we lOVED it as kids. but i think the ginger would definitely add an awesome kick to the whole shabang.
